Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Image2Doc (the “Application”) and this website handle your information. We have written it in plain language so it is easy to understand.

1. The Application

Image2Doc is a portable Windows desktop application. All image processing — converting images to PDF and extracting text via OCR — happens locally on your device.

2. The Website

This website is used to distribute Image2Doc. When you visit the site, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view) for security, fraud prevention, and aggregate statistics.

When you click the download button, we record a single event so we can count how many people are downloading the application. The record contains the date and time of the download, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. We use this only for download statistics and to detect abuse. We do not share these records with third parties and we do not link them to any personal identity.

We do not sell or share this technical information with third parties except as required by law or to operate the website (for example, our hosting and content-delivery providers).

3. Cookies and Google Ads

To remember whether you have seen our cookie notice, the website stores a single small value in your browser's local storage when you click Accept or Reject. This value is read only by this website and is never sent to a server. You can clear it at any time from your browser's site-data settings.

We use Google Ads to measure how effective our advertising is. The Google Ads tag (gtag.js) loads on every page so that, if you arrived from an ad, Google can attribute your visit to that ad and we can count downloads as conversions.

We operate the Google Ads tag in Consent Mode v2. This means no advertising or analytics cookies are set, and no user-identifying data is sent to Google, until you click Accept on the cookie notice. If you click Reject (or close the notice without choosing), only privacy-safe, cookieless pings are sent to Google so that aggregate ad performance can still be measured without identifying you.

If you accept, the following cookie types may be set by Google to attribute ad clicks and detect fraud: _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_dc, NID, IDE. Their lifespans range from 30 days to 13 months. For details on how Google processes this data, see Google's advertising policies and Google's privacy policy.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the next time you visit, the cookie notice will appear again.

4. Children

Image2Doc is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Your Rights

Because the Application processes data locally and the website does not collect personal accounts, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have questions about your privacy, you can contact us at the address on the Contact page.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.

7. Contact
